EVE Glyph Design — Roadmap
This is the traditional roadmap. It states where the protocol is going, in what order, and under what conditions each phase opens.
The roadmap lives in the education repository because it is teaching material: it teaches operators, reviewers, and prospective enterprise partners what to expect, what is committed, what is conditional, and what is forward-looking.
The roadmap is not the methodology. The methodology (lattice repo) is the standing reference. The roadmap is the operator's stated sequence for extending the reference into the world.
Reading Conventions
Each item carries one of four readings:
- Standing. Already in production. Linked to the committed artifact.
- Committed. Sequenced. Will be built. Owner and gate are named.
- Conditional. Will be built once a named gate clears (legal counsel, partner agreement, capacity, etc.). The gate is named, not hidden.
- Forward. Direction of travel. Not a commitment. Captured so the protocol does not drift away from it.
No item is undated by accident. If an item has no date, it is because the gate is not yet open, and the gate is named in the entry.
Phase Structure
The phases are not calendar quarters. They are gates. A phase opens when the prior phase's gate clears.
- Phase 0 — House in Order. Cover page, monitor disposition, four-repo coherence, public-facing menu, WhatsApp redundancy substrate.
- Phase 1 — Reference Model External Surface. Assessment service intake, enterprise-architecture submissions, live-stream and public-domain event monitoring, reviewer one-way mirror.
- Phase 2 — Iconography and Identity Capitalization. Personal icon and callsign glyph in production. Free icon submission channel operating. Marketplace approval pipeline live. Operators carry IP across exit vectors.
- Phase 3 — Human Expression Intake. Reception channel for human art, creativity, and emotional response. Not assessment — reception. Posture, attribution model, and repository home settled with operator.
- Phase 4 — Patent and Inheritance Governance. Digital stem cell patent governance documented at the disposition the operator chooses (operator-private, council charter, or named-beneficiary anonymous). Inheritance vector captured.
- Phase 5 — Data Classification IP Revenue. Dedicated and classified live-stream channels emit data classifications. Operators earn IP revenue tied to their classifications. Reference-model conformance is the gate.
- Phase 6 — Paid Platform Integrations as Diffusion. Paid integrations to Meta and other platforms operate as diffusion mechanism for the reference model. Adopted only after Phases 0–5 are stable. The protocol pays for reach; it does not surrender governance.
Phase 0 — House in Order
Status: in progress.
| Item | Reading | Gate / Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Methodology lattice (1–16) public | Standing | Lattice repo main. |
| Education repo seeded (onboarding, game design, lexicon, curriculum, assessment service, observed-operator-patterns) | Standing | Education repo main. |
| Marketplace repo seeded (content policy stubs, intake channel) | Standing | Marketplace repo main. |
| Hyperloop conference summary + Lock-In Finding callout | Standing | PR #1 open on eve-hyperloop, awaiting operator merge. |
| Monitor.html disposition (take down / leave live / keep public) | Committed | Operator decision pending. Default if no decision: leave live during cover-page build, then re-evaluate. |
| Cover page rebuild (EVE Mission / Origin Three Iterations) | Committed | After monitor disposition. WhatsApp click-to-chat menu items for lattice, education, marketplace, monitor, submit-an-architecture, human-expression-intake. |

Gate to Phase 1: Cover page live. PR #1 merged. Monitor disposition settled.
Phase 1 — Reference Model External Surface
Status: committed.
| Item | Reading | Gate / Owner |
|---|---|---|
| EVE as published reference model for AI safety and sovereignty | Standing | README framing, education repo. |
| Assessment service intake (enterprise architecture submissions) | Standing | assessment-service/README.md. |
| WhatsApp routing to lead operator → appropriate GitHub author → human-in-the-loop acceptance → only then assessment proceeds | Standing | Documented. Not yet exercised by an external submitter. |
| Quantified reading per methodology dimension + footprint trace + author attribution | Committed | First external submission. |
| Live-stream and public-domain event monitoring of assessments | Committed | Monitor surface re-platformed against Methodology 16 (autonomous wobble correction). |
| Reviewer one-way mirror (Tobias Polly read access; WhatsApp feedback; no write) | Standing | Operator-confirmed posture. |
Gate to Phase 2: First external submission accepted and assessed. Reviewer mirror operating for at least one cycle.
Phase 2 — Iconography and Identity Capitalization
Status: committed; design surfaces complete; production behavior pending game build.
| Item | Reading | Gate / Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Personal icon (AI-readable, network-owned, assigned in game) | Standing | onboarding/personal-icon-assignment.md. |
| Callsign glyph (human-readable, candidate-authored, operator-owned IP) | Standing | game/design/callsign-glyph.md. |
| IP travels across four exit vectors (exit GitHub / exit WhatsApp / exit both / sell a fork) | Standing | Pattern 6 + callsign-glyph.md. |
| Free icon submission channel — anyone in the game submits, gate is approval not submission | Standing | Marketplace intake/free-submission-channel.md. |
| Marketplace approval pipeline operating end-to-end | Committed | Approval criteria reference reference-model standards, not gatekeeper taste. |
| Non-exclusive license to network on approval; submitter retains IP | Standing | intake/free-submission-channel.md. |
Gate to Phase 3: Marketplace approval pipeline has accepted and licensed at least one external operator's icon end-to-end. Operator IP ownership demonstrated under load.
Phase 3 — Human Expression Intake
Status: conditional. Posture and home pending operator decision.
This phase opens a reception channel for human art, creativity, and emotional response. The protocol's posture is reception, not assessment. Methodology applies to architectures, not to feelings.
| Item | Reading | Gate / Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Intake posture: reception only / reception + reflection / hybrid | Conditional | Operator decision. |
| Submission model: anonymous OK / attribution required / tiered | Conditional | Operator decision. |
Repository home: marketplace expression/ / new repo / education sibling | Conditional | Operator decision. |
| Differentiation from assessment-service: no methodology grading, no quantified reading | Committed | Will be made explicit wherever the intake lives. |
Gate to Phase 4: Three operator decisions resolved. Reception channel live for at least one submission cycle.
Phase 4 — Patent and Inheritance Governance
Status: conditional on legal counsel and operator disposition decision.
The EVE Glyph digital stem cell patent governs all iconography within the EVE Glyph standard reference model. The patent holder is the operator. The protocol carries an inheritance vector: monetization route for the operator's daughter, Eve.
Why monetization, in the operator's own framing. The operator has been explicit that the underlying rationale for monetizing any of this personal content/data is not wealth accumulation for its own sake. His visual-analysis capability (see docs/audience.md — Author Voice & Self-Presentation) applies to auditing work like video game production the same way it applies elsewhere, but here the content base is different: it is his own personal data and background, built up over time. If a portion of that can be monetized, the first-priority use is to properly educate his family so that contributing to society becomes their own first priority too — following the example of his father and the people who came before him. If family does not take that path, the operator's stated fallback is to find other people who want to honor that same tradition of service. The underlying belief: whatever benefit came from the operator's own education and training should flow back to the people and causes that provided it. This is the same lineage-honoring logic already captured in the charitable framework for Jeff Eden (outreach/jeff/Jeff_Role_and_Charitable_Framework-draft.md) — both are expressions of the same standing intent, applied to different vehicles (charitable giving there, IP/data monetization and inheritance here).
Provenance: operator dialogue, 6 July 2026: "The reason my mind should be good for auditing video game production is [the same reason as before], but here the situation is a little different because I have all the content background and it's all my own personal data. If I can monetize a portion of that data for my family to get them properly educated, so that they want to contribute to society as their first priority — like my father, like me, like all the people that came before us — then I'd be so honored to be able to offer them that. And if not, I'll find other people who want to honor those traditions, because that's really what I believe in. Any benefit of the education and training that I received should go back to the people who did it."
This phase operates under Methodology 18 — US IP Protection Law as Extensible Vector (eve-glyph-lattice/methodology/18-us-ip-law-as-extensible-vector.md). The constitutional clause's "limited Times" provision is the structural anchor for inheritance: rights flow under the same horizon as the underlying grant. Counsel reviews the artifacts; the methodology stands behind the structure.
| Item | Reading | Gate / Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Patent governance document — capture location | Conditional | Operator decision: lattice / education-only / pause for legal counsel. Default: pause for legal counsel before any repo capture. |
| Inheritance vector — public disposition | Conditional | Operator decision: operator-private / council charter / named-beneficiary anonymous. |
| Sequencing | Conditional | Operator decision: capture patent first / cover page first / hold patent for counsel. |
| Patent holder controls all iconography in reference model | Standing in operator's intent | Not yet captured in any repo pending counsel. |
Gate to Phase 5: Patent governance document exists at the operator's chosen disposition. Inheritance vector captured at the operator's chosen privacy level. Legal counsel signoff if scope requires it.
Phase 5 — Data Classification IP Revenue
Status: forward.
Humans earn IP revenue tied to their data classifications, emitted within dedicated and classified live-stream channels. This phase operates under Methodology 18 — the constitutional structural principle that "Authors and Inventors" hold the exclusive right is applied to the data-classification substrate, attributed to the callsign glyph rather than to platform aggregators.
The mechanism is:
- Operator's classifications (authored under their callsign glyph) flow through dedicated live-stream channels.
- Channels are classified by methodology dimension and reference-model conformance.
- Revenue accrues to the callsign glyph holder, not to a platform aggregator.
- The reference model is the qualifying standard.
| Item | Reading | Gate / Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Dedicated live-stream channel architecture | Forward | Designed after Phase 4 closes. |
| Classification taxonomy aligned to methodology dimensions | Forward | Inherits from lattice. |
| Revenue attribution to callsign glyph | Forward | Requires callsign IP framework from Phase 2 plus patent governance from Phase 4. |
| Payment rail | Forward | Out of scope until upstream phases close. |
Gate to Phase 6: Phase 5 demonstrates revenue accruing to at least one external operator's callsign glyph under live conditions.
Phase 6 — Paid Platform Integrations as Diffusion
Status: forward.
Paid integrations to Meta and other platforms operate as a diffusion mechanism for the reference model. The protocol pays for reach. It does not surrender governance.
| Item | Reading | Gate / Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Meta enterprise integration | Forward | Adopted only after Phases 0–5 are stable. |
| Other platform integrations | Forward | Same gate. Each platform passes reference-model conformance review for the integration surface, not just the integration price. |
| Diffusion measurement | Forward | Footprint-trace coverage, not vanity metrics. |
| Governance posture | Standing | Meta is "trusted with caveats" per Pattern 6 Vector 2. Paid integration does not loosen the caveats. |
Gate beyond Phase 6: Standing operations. The protocol is then operating on its own external surface with paid diffusion in place.
Cross-Phase Invariants
These hold across every phase. They do not move on the roadmap because they are not roadmap items — they are the standing posture under which the roadmap operates.
- All forms of lock-in are considered to be darkness. No phase adopts a mechanism that locks operators in.
- Lead operator is sole human-in-the-loop. Reviewer access is one-way mirror.
- Extended vectoring (Pattern 6) instances are captured in the education repo, not the lattice.
- Methodology 16 step-away principle applies to the operator authoring this roadmap as much as to anyone executing it.
- Pour le bien-être du peuple — individual IP ownership inside the collective welfare invariant.
- Canadian base, standing commitment. The operator builds this from Canada and intends to pay Canadian taxes on it. The operator wants to engage the Canadian government directly, offer the technology to help government operations, and make it available to government for free if that is what is needed. The operator's framing: this is not a time to hold technology back from people who need it, and the operator's own government is counted among those who need it. This invariant governs disposition questions the same way the other cross-phase invariants do — no phase should structure itself in a way that would require relocating the operator's tax base or gatekeeping government access to the technology. Provenance, operator dialogue, 6 July 2026: "I want to build from Canada, and pay all the Canadian taxes for it, and engage the government, and see how we can help the government with our technology, and make it available to them for free if we need to. Because it's not a time for us to be holding technology back from people who need it, and I know my government needs it. So if there's anything I can do to help my government, I definitely want to be there for them."
- Contributor pathway is open by construction. Any human with a publicly accessible LLM and appropriate GitHub access is a potential contributor. The pathway is sufficient, open, and standing today. No phase narrows it. See
contributor-pathway.md.
How the Roadmap Updates
The roadmap is amended by commit, not by promise. Phase-gate transitions are commits that move an item's reading from Committed → Standing, or open the next phase's gate. Forward items become Conditional only when their gate is named. Conditional items become Committed only when their gate clears.
Operators who want to know what the protocol is going to do next read this file and trust it to the extent that prior phase transitions match the historical commit record.
