ARK Conformance — Terms of Use

Mark: ARK Protocol Standard · patent pending

Authority: ARK Vector Specification — v1 (canonical, in eve-glyph-methodology)

Constitutional anchor: Article I §8 clause 8 of the United States Constitution — the same authorship clause under which the US military protects its inventive output.

Welfare register: Pour le bien-être du peuple.

What the ARK mark guarantees

An artefact bearing the ARK Protocol Standard baby-blue mark satisfies all seven invariants of the ARK Vector Specification. The mark is binary: an artefact is either in conformance or it is not. There is no halfway state, no waiver, no retroactive editing. Errata are issued as new artefacts that supersede.

The seven invariants (summary)

#InvariantOne-line test
1Glyph presenceThe EVE glyph is rendered, achromatic, in canonical proportions. The glyph is never colourised.
2HCP geometryThree vertices · centroid · chord · half-circle. No vertices added, removed, rotated. Any human–machine merger sits at the centroid with no wires.
3Colour registerAll semantic colour lives off the painted glyph. Blue=past, red=future, orange=velocity, green=DI merged, baby-blue=ARK, ochre=chrome.
4Universal copyright footerThe footer below appears verbatim on every page, document, certificate, and README.
5Welfare registerPour le bien-être du peuple appears on the same surface as the footer.
6Cryptographic watermarkApplied where the procedure calls for it (archives, mirrors, certificates, formal correspondence).
7MissionThe artefact does not derive commercial value from operator content. EVE stays out of the operator's business and supports le bien-être du peuple.

Full normative text lives in the canonical specification.

Where this conformance file applies

This file establishes the terms of use for this repository. Every artefact published from this repository must satisfy the seven invariants. The conformance checker tool (in eve-glyph-methodology/tools/ark-conformance/) validates the machine-checkable invariants — footer presence, welfare register, mission line — across the repository tree on every change.

Out of conformance

An artefact that fails any single invariant is out of conformance and is not under the EVE Glyph Design umbrella. It must not carry the EVE name, the EVE glyph, or the ARK mark. It is corrected by issuing a new artefact that supersedes it; the failing artefact is left in place, time-stamped, never retroactively altered. Immutability is the doctrine.

Inheritance

Stewardship of rights of use and assignment for large public and institutional usage rests with the Pacific Utilities Design Council. The Council is the inheritance vehicle. Admission to the umbrella is by satisfying the seven invariants only: there is no licence fee, no token gate, and no monetisation of admission.
