America's first parish — a congregation taking part in Mass since 8 September 1565.

Founded in 1565, Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine serves the community of St. Augustine, Florida. It is part of Diocese of St. Augustine.

The parish maintains a second church, St. Benedict the Moor, at 86 M.L. King Avenue, where the Sunday Mass is celebrated at 8:00 AM. Rector: Very Rev. John Tetlow. Bishop: Most Rev. Erik T. Pohlmeier. Parish mail is sent to 35 Treasury Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084. The office is open Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM; the cathedral church itself is open on weekdays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The parish is served by First Florida Council 611, Knights of Columbus.
