Our parish

The English Sunday Mass by the marina at Nuevo Vallarta.

Founded in , Paradise Village Catholic Mass serves the community of Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit. It is part of Diócesis de Tepic · Decanato Bahía de Banderas.

This must be stated plainly: this is a standing Sunday Mass, not a parish. The Diócesis de Tepic, which holds jurisdiction over Bahía de Banderas, does not list it among its parishes or quasi-parishes, and no source names a priest or a parish that supplies the celebrant. It is a long-standing pastoral accommodation for English-speaking residents, condominium owners and visitors of the marina area, which meets inside the Paradise Plaza mall in the Paradise Village complex. The nearest canonical parishes are the Cuasiparroquia de la Sagrada Familia at Las Jarretaderas and Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz at Bucerías. The Vallarta Yacht Club is about one kilometer to the north on the same Paseo de los Cocoteros; no source connects this yacht club with this Mass, nor does this card assert it. No founding date can be given, because nothing was ever founded — the listing in worship directories can be traced from around 2005 (the mid-first-decade of the twenty-first century) up to the present day. No freely licensed image of the Mass, of the Paradise Plaza interior, or of any chapel on site could be found. The only free image of the complex is a 2005 photograph of the gated entrance of that tourist site — a gate, not a church — and a gate on a church card would be a lie of composition. The card remains without an image until someone present on site sends one.
